An hour, no charge, usually at your place. I want to see how the business actually runs before I draw anything.

A rough layout and a written price. You get both before you commit to anything, and you keep them either way.
3. Development
I transform the visuals into a fully functional website. This phase involves meticulous coding and integration to ensure your site is responsive and performs seamlessly across devices.
4. Launch
I move it live, check it on a phone, and sit with you for half an hour so you can update your own hours and prices.

Eleven years of this, mostly by word of mouth
I spent six years at an agency in Denver watching small clients get billed for meetings. Then I started doing the same work from a spare room in Lakewood for about a third of the price, and I have not needed to advertise since.
Most of my clients have between one and fifteen employees. Some of them have never had a website. A few had one built years ago by a relative and have been quietly embarrassed by it since.
